Dive Into Demos and Tech Tours
The ITS World Congress will provide first-hand experiences of the latest intelligent transportation systems technologies and solutions from across the globe. Attendees will be able to attend real-world demonstrations and technical tours in both the outdoor demonstration area and off-site, showcasing cutting edge traffic signals, roadside units, C-V2X interoperability, lidar technology, and more.
Check out a few demonstrations that will be going all week:
Combining 3D-Lidar and C-V2X Technology to Enhance Safety in Cities and Tolling Services in Highways Demonstration
Outdoor Demonstration Area from 10:00 AM – 05:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
Indra will demonstrate the latest integrated connected vehicles technology for tolling (V2X Toll) and safety (3D-LIDAR + V2X) simultaneously from the same roadside infrastructure (RSU). During the event, Indra will use the 3D Lidar to detect a pedestrian and other events in the demonstration area. The goal of this demo is to show that the same roadside equipment can be used efficiently for toll collection and safety purposes.
Enhanced Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon (E-RRFB) Demonstration
Outdoor Demonstration Area from 10:00 AM – 05:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
The Enhanced Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon(E-RRFB), powered by ConnVAS MAGIC’s multi-detector technology and JSF RRFB and overhead illumination (LumiWalk), transforms any crosswalk into a safer, smarter environment, automatically. Leveraging AI-driven detection, the E-RRFB offers cutting-edge features to protect both pedestrians and drivers.
Miovision Connected Vehicle and VRU Alert Demonstration
Outdoor Demonstration Area from 10:00 AM – 05:00 PM, Monday through Thursday
This demonstration will showcase Miovision’s V2X service, Personal Signal Assistant®, and connected vehicle applications, Green Light Optimized Speed Advisory (GLOSA) and Vulnerable Road User (VRU) Alert via a mobile app. Using the video detection capabilities of the Miovision Core DCM with Smartview, VRUs are detected within intersections, addressing safe and efficient operations and helping to prevent unsafe scenarios
