The House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure approved on June 10, 2021, its five-year, $547 billion surface transportation bill after more than 17 hours of debate following an unexpected all-night session. The final vote was 38-26.

ITS America’s letter of support for INVEST in America Act EV Charging Stations in the Interstate Right-of-Way

ITS America writes to express our strong support for Section 1211 of the INVEST in America Act that allows for the charging of electric vehicles on rights-of-way of the Interstate System, including in a rest area; or a fringe or corridor parking facility, including a park and ride facility.
