On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, the U.S. Senate approved the roughly $1 trillion H.R. 3684 – Infrastructure Investment and Jobs (IIJA) Act. The bill passed with strong bipartisan support by a vote of 69-30. The bill includes the surface transportation reauthorization slated to expire at the end of September 2021.
