V2X Accelerator Deployment Concept Series Webinar #1: Utah DOT
Background:
In Fall 2024, the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) collectively awarded $60 million to Maricopa County DOT (MCDOT), Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI), and Utah DOT (UDOT) to deploy, operate, and showcase secure, interoperable vehicle-to-everything (V2X) deployments. This webinar will provide insight into the planning and design of UDOT’s Connecting the West vehicle-to-everything (V2X) deployment project, including challenges being addressed at the deployment site, the proposed system from a user perspective, and the project’s goals and performance measures. This is the first of three webinars in the Deployment Concept series. The remaining webinars will feature presentations from MCDOT and TTI.
