ITS America Board Elects New Officers for 2026

The ITS America Board of Directors certified the election of its 2026 Board Officers, and welcomed its three new directors at the Board of Directors meeting this week in Washington, D.C.

The ITS America Board is composed of diverse senior-level executives from private companies and public organizations in the mobility, technology, and ITS industry. Officers and Directors set policy and strategic direction for the association.

Our Board Directors and Officers lead with collaboration, advancing innovative solutions to make transportation systems safe, smart, and connected.”

2026 ITS America Board of Directors Leadership:

  • Chair – Marc Williams, Texas Department of Transportation
  • Vice Chair – Erik Dietz, PrePass Safety Alliance
  • Secretary – Solomon Caviness, Atlanta DOT
  • Treasurer – Laurel Straub, State Farm Insurance
  • Immediate Past Chair – Chris Armstrong, Cavnue
  • Audit Committee Chair – Laurie Matkowski, GFT
  • Governance Committee Chair – Michelle Quadt, Verizon

In addition to the certified Board leadership positions, the following individuals were named as new Directors on November 24. Representatives from the public sector include:

  • Bradley Wieferich – Director, Michigan Department of Transportation
  • Amy Ford – Executive Director, Department of Transportation and Infrastructure, City of Denver
  • M.J. Maynard-Carey – CEO, Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, Las Vegas

Additionally, seven Directors have been re-elected to serve another Board term. Representatives from the private sector include:

  • Erik Dietz – Executive Vice President, PrePass Safety Alliance
  • Michelle Quadt – Senior Director 5G Acceleration, Ecosystem Development, Verizon
  • Jim Misener – Senior Director, Product Management and Global V2X Ecosystem Lead, Qualcomm

From the public sector:

  • Russell McMurry – Commissioner, Georgia Department of Transportation
  • Ydanis Rodriguez – Commissioner, New York City Department of Transportation
  • Jared Perdue – Secretary of Transportation, Florida Department of Transportation
  • Kome Ajise – Executive Director, Southern California Associations of Governments
