The Intelligent Transportation Systems Joint Programs Office (ITS JPO) at USDOT is hosting a national webinar, Demystifying AI Procurement: Actionable Strategies for Transportation Agencies, on September 17, 2026, from 1 to 4pm eastern. This interactive national webinar is designed to build a common understanding on AI procurement considerations, to identify effective practices and approaches, and to establish a shared language around AI procurement themes, helping agencies across the country confidently navigate this shifting landscape. This event is open to public sector agency leadership, management, and technical specialists across all types of multimodal agencies (States, local agencies, MPOs, transit authorities, and Tribes). If you lead or support technical programs, acquisitions, finance, legal frameworks, or IT infrastructure, this national webinar will provide essential tools for cross-functional alignment on this critical emerging topic.
