During this session, we learn about two new connected vehicle applications being developed as part of the Tampa (THEA) Connected Vehicle Pilot. Representatives from Tampa (THEA) share their experiences of designing the Wrong Way Entry (WWE) and Pedestrian in Crosswalk (PED-X) applications. This session also identifies technical and other barriers Tampa (THEA) is facing and how they are being overcome; and discusses how these applications will eventually be tested and their performance measured.
