V2X Accelerator Deployment Concept Series Webinar #2: Maricopa County DOT
Background:
In Fall 2024, the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) collectively awarded $60 million to Maricopa County DOT (MCDOT), Texas A&M Transportation Institute (TTI), and Utah DOT (UDOT) to deploy, operate, and showcase secure, interoperable vehicle-to-everything (V2X) deployments. This webinar will provide insight into the planning and design of Maricopa County Department of Transportation’s Connected Vehicle Acceleration Zone vehicle-to-everything (V2X) deployment project, including challenges being addressed at the deployment site, the proposed system from a user perspective, and the project’s goals and performance measures. This is the second of three webinars in the Deployment Concept series. The final webinar will feature a presentation from TTI.
