ITS America is thrilled to be hosting the 2025 World Congress in Atlanta on August 24-28 in the city of Atlanta, Georgia; gathering industry leaders across the globe to showcase the newest technologies and solutions that enable a safer, greener, and smarter transportation system for all.

This World Congress promises an invigorating experience for attendees, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors. The submission period to speak in a session or present a technical or scientific paper at the Congress is now open until December 6^th, 2024. This is an unbeatable opportunity to present your groundbreaking ideas and technologies to a global audience! The program themes of 2025 encompass the most vital contemporary ITS topics: vehicle automation, connected transportation, transportation systems, managing & utilizing data, sustainability & resiliency, multimodal integrated mobility, and incorporating emerging technologies. Attendees will listen to the insights of global industry leaders at comprehensive panels spanning special interest, technical/research, strategic technology, executive, and plenary sessions, as well as experiencing demonstrations of cutting-edge emerging technologies. These educational sessions provide attendees with PDH learning credits and networking opportunities, ensuring an invaluable experience.

Our host city, Atlanta, is an exciting destination for all transportation professionals. Boasting 2.5 million more residents and 1 million new jobs by 2040, Atlanta’s flourishing population requires the city to create solutions to ensure efficient transportation of goods and people. For almost a decade, city leaders have been developing and executing strategic transportation plans in response to their growing population, investing millions of dollars to make Atlanta an epicenter for transportation innovation. They were the first city in the US to implement a full C-V2X solution across public infrastructure, the first to install a solar roadway on a public street, and the first region to deploy autonomous vehicles from multiple OEMS on a public roadway with 5G wireless connection.

Not only is residency increasing, but tourism is as well. Atlanta is home to the world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield Jackson International, and is one of the most-visited cities in America. This comes as no surprise, as the region is host to a variety of enriching experiences that can be enjoyed by both transportation fanatics and their families, including the Spectacular at Centennial Park, the Porsche Experience Center Atlanta, and the World of Coca-Cola. You can also delve into Atlanta’s rich history at the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Park or the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Excitingly, Congress attendees will have the opportunity to attend the Gala at the Georgia Aquarium!
