“In passing the budget reconciliation package, the House of Representatives has taken an important step toward a more sustainable transportation system as well as helping provide more equity and access to people in communities across the country. ITS America and our members have advocated for public transit investment to improve and expand service and providing tax credits to lower the cost of electric vehicles – we are pleased to see these provisions included in H.R. 5376. In addition, the incentive grants for states and cities to reduce greenhouse gas emissions will help move the transportation sector to a cleaner, greener future.”
