A Lidar-Based Approach to Pedestrian Safety

Pedestrian fatalities on the roadways continue to increase year after year, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). To address this problem, lidar-based technologies are being implemented across industries, including for autonomous vehicles (AV), advanced driver assistance and intelligent infrastructure. In this webinar, we will hear from NAVYA, a leader in AV shuttles, Blue City Technology, an innovative intelligent transportation systems provider, and Velodyne Lidar. Panelists will discuss how their companies are bringing forth lidar-equipped solutions with the goal of saving lives.
