ITS America’s Standing Advisory Committee on Digital Infrastructure
The Digital Infrastructure Standing Committee supports the integration of digital technologies into our transportation system and promotes the use of innovative tools like artificial intelligence to improve transportation outcomes. ITS America leads the way in working with USDOT, its members, and the industry to help public agencies modernize transportation using technology and understand how digital infrastructure, like data and information systems, is just as important as physical infrastructure, like roads and bridges. This committee discusses and develops surface transportation policy and addresses best practices and barriers to developing and deploying these key digital infrastructure tools

This webinar will explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming road safety and asset management, moving us closer to achieving Vision Zero—eliminating all traffic fatalities and severe injuries. Traditional, manual road inspections are costly, inefficient, and pose significant safety risks. We’ll demonstrate how AI-powered solutions, leveraging existing dash camera footage, provide real-time, actionable insights, enabling agencies to proactively address safety hazards before they lead to accidents.
