Vehicle-to-everything (V2X) technologies represent proven tools to improve safety, efficiency, and mobility on our nation’s roadways. Still, a lack of clarity exists within the transportation community about a variety of terms and approaches related to V2X. To that end, ITS America’s V2X and Connected Vehicle Committee has released “V2X Decoded: Frequently Asked Questions,” which provides a reference guide for transportation stakeholders on V2X terminology. It is our hope that this document will help provide both clarity and consistency in ways in which critical V2X concepts are understood.
