USTDA: Global Partnership for Climate-Smart Infrastructure Webinar
U.S. Government Interagency Briefing:
The Global Partnership for Climate-Smart Infrastructure & USG Tools to Support U.S. Companies Overseas
On April 23, 2021, President Biden announced the U.S. Trade and Development Agency’s (USTDA) Global Partnership for Climate-Smart Infrastructure to connect U.S. industry to major energy and transportation infrastructure investments in emerging markets. The initiative supports the rebuilding of the U.S. middle class through the export of U.S.-manufactured goods and services, while enhancing economic recovery through climate-smart infrastructure development for partners and allies globally. The Partnership leverages USTDA’s project preparation and partnership-building tools to support the use of U.S. technologies and services in overseas climate-smart infrastructure projects. USTDA is partnering with ITS America as one of its key U.S. industry partners for the initiative.
This webinar will provide an overview of the Global Partnership for Climate-Smart Infrastructure, including its goals and objectives, and opportunities for U.S. companies and organizations in the transportation sector to benefit. During the session, you will also hear from representatives from among the initiative’s U.S. government partners: the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of Transportation, and the Export-Import Bank of the United States. Representatives will share how their agencies can support the use of U.S. technologies and services in overseas climate-smart transportation projects.
