ITS America Outlines Transportation Infrastructure Priorities for 116th Congress

WASHINGTON – The Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) today sent letters to the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee outlining the association’s transportation infrastructure priorities for the 116th Congress.

They include reauthorization of the FAST Act that prioritizes investments in intelligent transportation technologies, an infrastructure package that leverages the FAST Act and new emerging technology grants, preserving the 5.9 GHz spectrum for transportation communications, Mobility on Demand, and buildout of alternative vehicle infrastructure.
