ITE’s Women in ITE Committee and ITS America are working in partnership to bring to you the Women in the Workforce webinar. This webinar has been specifically designed as a new way of learning and developing that provides a supportive environment for women in the workforce. We are committed to building a more equitable and inclusive work culture where we can all feel confident in our abilities, no matter what their background. Women in the Workforce webinar’s mission is to inspire and empower women to lead in their workplaces and communities.

In this webinar, you will learn to develop the skills, confidence, and connections needed to be successful in your career and in life. The Women in the Workforce program is all about supporting and celebrating women who work.

The session will start with an introduction of four strategically selected topics, which will lead to four concurrent breakout rooms for further discussion with our expert panel. At the end of the session, we will have time for Q&A from our attendees.

The pre-selected topics include four key aspects of retention:

2. Deliberate retention policies by Jannet Walker-Ford | WSP (invited)

3. Flexible work environments by Karen Philbrick | Executive Director, Mineta Transportation Institute*

4. Removing barriers to promotion by Monica Jones | Chief Equity Officer, COTA
